I’m an Officer, I outrank him
I’m a Army Infantry Veteran and served in Iraq, got my CIB and been though few firefights, had my vehicle hit by IEDs and so on. At my university we had a Veterans club, I was part of it and my psychology professor started it, he’s a Navy Veteran. During one of the classes we were discussing traumatizing events, PTSD and how people turn to alcohol and drug use after the event.
I’ll take some of that PTSD and a coke please
It’s stuff like this that makes deserving or needing vets have trouble getting the care they need!
